Mango spring rolls with Nutella
This recipe is a great thing for these sunny, spring days. If you like sweets, especially with Nutella, you will love it.
This is a recipe for 10 spring rolls. Not difficult, and preparation time is approximately 15 minutes, and cooking around 10 minutes.
You will need:
5 sheets of phyllo pastry
100 grams of Nutella
25 grams of unsalted butter
and 2 tablespoons of flaked almonds
First what you have to do is to peel the mango, and cut into small cubes. Detach the flesh from the stone.
Toast them in a dry frying pan, and then melt a butter in a bowl over a pan of boiling water.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, and cut the sheets of phyllo pastry in a half. This way you will get ten rectangles. Keep the sheets that you are not using covered with a towel, or any clean rag. This will prevent them from drying out.
Place few cubes of mango in the middle of the long side of one rectangle, near the edge. After you did this, add two teaspoons of Nutella, and few almonds. Roll up the spring roll halfway, then fold in the sides and continue rolling to the end of the rectangle.
Then use the melted butter to brush the spring rolls, place them on a baking sheet, covered with baking parchment.
Then bake for ten minutes, until they look nicely golden. You can serve them both warm or cold.
